I was born and raised in Los Angeles and started making films at the age of 9. Since then, I’ve been honing my aesthetic and technical skills in photography, cinematography, editing, and color grading. I have traveled to 13 countries so far, and created short films throughout most of my travels. My work has been recognized by the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, the National YoungArts Foundation, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and The New York Times. I attended Columbia University and lived and worked in New York for several years. My clients include 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, WAX Poster, M+B Photo, AMMO Books, Kid Made Modern, and Red Light Management. My footage has been licensed for commercials by Adidas, Verizon, and Samsung. One of my short films was used as live concert visuals for Moby. I currently live in Los Angeles and welcome inquiries regarding licensing, freelance work opportunities, and creative collaborations. miles@milescrist.com
