Miles Crist is a filmmaker and photographer based in New York. Miles is originally from Southern California where he lived in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. He started making films at the age of 9, and by high school, his interests in time-lapse photography and travel came together when he started making his City Series of short films. Miles has created short films on numerous cities and locations including: Prague, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, New York, and the Atacama Desert in Chile. In each location, Miles seeks to capture what is cinematic and unique about each place. So far, Miles has been fortunate enough to travel across 4 continents and 13 countries, and hopes to continue to travel the world and document his adventures through film and photography. Miles's films have been screened at numerous film festivals including the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, the Los Angeles Film Festival, the Seattle International Film Festival, and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. He has also won numerous awards in film and photography from the National Young Arts Foundation and the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. His clients include Red Light Management, United Dominion Realty, All of it Now Visuals, and others. His work has been licensed as footage for commercial projects for Samsung, Verizon, Adidas, and many other clients.
